Reservoir Roof Renewals

 

M & J Arthur PTY LTD was contracted to demolish existing roofs and replace with new roofs on four drinking water reservoirs for the Tablelands Regional Council. Three of the reservoir roofs were replaced with aluminium frame and LT7 profile aluminium sheeting.

The fourth and largest reservoir utilised ColourBond Klip-Lok 700 sheeting over a galvanised steel frame supported on 316 stainless steel posts.

• Ash Street, Yungaburra - 0.8ML Reservoir

• Stonehouse Road, Tolga - 1.2ML Reservoir

• Halloran’s Hill, Atherton - 1.2ML Reservoir

An additional two tanks were added to the project. The High Water Tank and Clear Water Tank in Malanda. The High Water Tank received new structural steel and ColourBond Roofing while the Clear Water Tank required new wall sheets to repair the damaged vermin proof nets that were installed.
